The MVH-10 is a multi-stage pump and is intended for domestic and light industrial applications. The construction incorporates heavy duty bearings, a hard stainless steel (410) shaft fitted with an ultra-hard wearing silicon carbide mechanical seal (in a chamber of non-toxic oil) for durability. Corrosion resistant and hard wearing materials are used throughout with the motor housing, strainer and reinforced outlet in 304 stainless steel. The pump casing, head cover, base plate and impellers are all in thermoplastic. It has an integral starting capacitor and has a pendant type float switch. It is not recommended for operation against the closed valve of a tap or a nozzle. It is supplied with 10 metres of heavy duty rubber power cable. The maximum depth of submersion is 8 metres.
