ATEX Approved Diesel and Petrol Transfer Pumps

July 2003 saw the introduction of the ATEX directive regarding the handling of flammable liquids in potentially explosive environments. This regulation states that those dispensing petrol, kerosene or diesel in a zone one area need to use specially certified ATEX pumps, which are safe for use with lower flash point liquids.
