Diesel tank alarms are installed on the majority of commercial storage tanks for refuelling vehicles and machinery, and on generator back up diesel tanks. The purpose of a diesel tank level alarm is to audibly alert when a tank’s contents is getting low and fuel needs to be delivered, or when it is almost full, hence it also being referred to as a diesel tank overfill alarm. They can also be used to identify if a bulk diesel tank’s outer bund has fluid within it, which could mean a leak in the inner tank.
