The Delta is designed for metering of cold water that contains sand, dirt and solids, however, an additional coarse strainer is required “up stream” from the inlet. It is particularly suitable for irrigation applications, where high flow rates occur. It has a paddle wheel turbine which relies on a full bore flow to provide an accurate measurement. It has an epoxy coated cast iron body and a super dry dial for frost resistant operation. It is certified to Class A for accuracy and can be operated horizontally or vertically. Mounting flanges are DIN standard PN16. It is supplied with a tamper evident wire lock and seal. Remote meter reading can be achieved by specifying the optional extras of pulse output and LCD counter.
